Rainbow

The rain poured
                        and drowned my questions
                        The sun emerged
                        and dried my tears
                        The rainbow painted
                        colors of hope
                        and my heart
                        broke free from fears
                        The night whispered
                        dreams and promise
                        The day smiled
                        happiness bright
                        My mind set free
                        from the unknown chances
                        and my soul
                        could finally take flight
