Today I found
accomplishment in completing the most mundane of tasks
Joy in every question my children would ask
Laughter and memories from a faraway friend
comfort and love within each letter I sent
Solitude and peacefulness in the quiet afternoon
And tonight I found myself
So very blessed
with your genuine interest
A dear friend's hand in mine
conversation lost in time
As we walked together
by the gentle glow of the moon
