The evolution of a writer and poet consists of various emotions, thoughts and experiences...even stages in life. I have compiled all of my gratitude, sentiments and appreciation to my family, friends and readers for their unwavering support in my passion for writing poetry with a poem and a few original quotes. Not as heart stopping as Emily Dickinson or Poe, but it's a glimpse of how I see the world through the eyes of poetry. I really do see poetry all around me, so I record it. It's my release, my outlet. I've been writing since I was five, and I can't stop. My voice has evolved over time. Some of my writing can be very raw and can grab you by the jugular. It's not for the faint of imagination, but it is my voice. It means so much to me to read your comments and suggestions. Writers need both a critical eye and positive reinforcement! It can get pretty crazy in someone’s heart and mind, but if you are brave enough to explore those hidden places you never know what lies beneath. You may even recognize yourself.  I know I do when I read your words.

"I see poetry."
“Poetry is as poetry does.”
"Poetry is not something you do, it is something you are."
”Writing poetry is like breathing air.”
