Red was the color when you made me scream
Orange was the color of my empty dreams
Yellow was the color when I heard your lies
Green was the color that I thought we'd be
Blue was the color inside of me
Purple was the color when I closed my eyes
Black was the color when you went away
Silver was the color when you tried to stay
Gold was the color of the love you'd never show
The rain came to wash away the pain from me
but why wasn't someone there to help me see
the colors would disappear from my rainbow
