with soft, kind words and a long distance smile
I felt so alone but you held my hand
through space and comforted me for awhile
Advice from a mother is precious food
for the soul that is starving for answers
I needed to feed on some bowl of truth;
you served my hungry mind second chances
Tonight, dreaming and sleeping will replace
the pacing of footsteps, and falling tears
You gave me courage to restore my faith
and to release my mind-altering fears
