I came across words to keep
a tear rolled down my cheek
A mournful melody moved me so
liquid sorrow began to flow
I cannot read between the lines
no longer have the life that was mine
Haunted by no names or numbers
the deepest part of me continues to wonder...
Too many decisions never shared
forced into silence by a threatening glare
One accepting and fear resolved
But the pieces to another's puzzle of pain
forever remain...
unsolved
