Two Parts of Me

Two parts of me
                        thinkings and feeling
                        Heart and mind
                        battle the reality
                        foes to each other
                        for a greater cause

                        Existing before
                        in dreams
                        as it were
                        But the present and future
                        more important
                        to discover

                        Love's determination
                        guessing and hoping
                        behind my smile
                        Endless questions
                        answered by invisible words
                        ignored by silence

                        Two parts of me...
                        now in painful harmony
