The aurora borealis of dreams
Transforms these quiet night skies of snow stars
Emerging from this hypnotizing scene --
A smile from a memory of ours
The exploding brigade of rainbow haze
Sounds like your softest whisper in my ear
A farewell from spring into summer days
Silently dissolves my innermost fears
Then slowly, the grey hues return again
When I look down for one moment to grieve;
Your face disappears into the north wind
And remains where she quietly deceives
I want those colors to stay in the sky
to distract the solemn tear from my eye
