Like the brilliant moon disappearing
into the beautiful dawn
We sit quietly and reflect
upon the Year that has gone
A new and strong Resolution
we quickly make in haste
Another long frozen memory
we dare not put to waste
Feeling the probable Promise
a New Day seems to bring
We feast and live upon a dream
like fairytale Kings and Queens
Our minds create the fantasy
and the forthcoming Future does hold
all of the unplayed stories
beating hearts have never told
Look to the endless sky
and remember the forgotten Past
Another time with certainty goes
It sadly never can last
Feel the soft breeze blowing
upon your untouched skin
Let go of every Yesterday
and welcome Tomorrow in
Possibilities swirl
inside our Universe
We take so much for granted
and think little of it's worth
Stop and hold so precious
the Rose that he wrote about
Take caution against sorrow
Relinquish the fear and doubt
Life fades so quickly
if we are slow to take heed
There will be Love and kind rewards
for each and every good deed
Fear not the unknown
for therein lies our Cause
Focus not on mishaps
dismiss the burdens or flaws
Open your eyes to the Grand Scheme
it's ending has not been stated
Cherrrish the gift that's been given to us
to be unconditionally appreciated
Hunger for the satisfaction
a willful Anticipation will allow
Thirst for the knowledge of desires
they are inseperably connected somehow
We take these truths and blessings
to redefine ourselves
Close the book on Before and
After remains on our shelves
True as one good Soul once said
every end brings a new beginning
