Antithesis

Weak for wanting your help to overcome
an insecurity that's buried deep?
Your harsh words form doubts and I come undone
while in your staunch, self righteousness you sleep
Your mechanical technicalities
disqualify me as a human being
A pathetic dysfunctionality
despite all that you forget you have seen
It is the antithesis to loving
when you sit cold, rigid, silently judging
my desire to focus on how to fix
the poorly drawn boundaries of this matrix
More to the dysfunction is my contempt
for myself in thinking we'd never end
